2014 was a fantastic year for us, there was never a dull moment! Out of all the projects we worked on throughout the year, the Riot Bar for the Foodies Festival has to be the one we look back on the most! From the beginning of the project in April to the first festival set up in Brighton in early May it was fun, challenging and rewarding.
The idea behind the Riot Bar was to create an exciting and relaxing ‘pop-up playground’ that would bring a little Ibiza to the Foodies Festival as it toured around various beautiful site across the UK. Customers could sip cocktails and dance to DJs while relaxing on beanbags and hammocks and handcrafted furniture.
The bar was to be loud, colourful and energetic so our bar furniture had to sit within this concept and bring the bar to life!
The furniture also had be robust (we know what sun, drink and music can lead to!), easily transportable between the festival sites and functional. The bar had to sit a certain number of people as well as have space for dancing.
