We traveled to Gloucestersire to build a large, movable pallet bed in the beautiful gardens of a private home. Here are the results!

Th bed had to be big enough for the whole family to enjoy at once! It also had to be light and study enough so that it would be easily moved around the garden so that the client could enjoy the amazing views from their garden. At the same time it had to fit easily back into position under the porch roof when the weather wasn’t so good.

The reclaimed timber used was sanded smooth and fully treated against the elements. The six, 50mm wheels were partially hidden by a ‘lip’ on the underside of the bed to give the impression that it was floating above the ground.

The pallet bed was partially built off-site at our workshop in London and was put together and given its final touches on site at the clients house.
